Toxins 2026 in Madrid

The 8th International Toxins Congress was held in Madrid in mid January. Over 1600 participants from 84 countries joined.

The opening session focused on Musician’s dystonia. Three patients shared their stories and also performed. The highlight of the session was when Dr. Anna Castagna on flute performed together with her patient Roberto on guitar.

The TOXINS conferences cover the latest developments in the basic science and clinical

applications of neurotoxins. The scientific program―presented by the world’s experts in their respective fields―is of interest to basic scientists and clinicians in the fields of neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, dermatology, aesthetic medicine, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, urology, gastroenterology, and pain management.

Dystonia Europe had a stand in the exhibition hall. It was a great opportunity to connect with old friends and also to make new contacts.

Next to us was DMRF – the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation – the US dystonia association . They are planning for the next International Dystonia Symposium in Sevilla in April 2027. We are helping them to promote this important event. For more information see here: https://dystonia2027.org

Many participants were interested to learn more about the Cervical Dystonia Patient Journey and our Dystonia Physio Exercise Platform.

We thank everybody who came to see us and learn more about what we are doing and how we can work together.
