Dystonia Europe participated at “Shaping the Future: Policy Responses to Neurological Challenges” 19 February 2025 at the European Parliament, a meeting of the MEP Interest Group on Brain Health and Neurological Conditions at the European Parliament this week, kindly hosted by Billy Kelleher MEP. This meeting was arranged by EFNA (European Federation of Neurological Associations). Dystonia Europe was represented by Merete Haaseth Avery as a panelist to talk about dystonia and spread awareness along with other associations and stakeholders within neurology.

There were insightful discussions with by the panelists Arabela Acalinei, Merete Haaseth Avery, Jean-Philippe Plançon, Holm Graessner, José Ángel Aibar and Lutgarde Allard around the impact of rare neurological conditions and the policies needed to meet the needs of the rare neurology community.
