Change of date: Meeting for Musicians with Dystonia in Munich Germany

Musicians dystonia

In Germany there is a special support group for ”Musicians with dystonia” and they organise a meeting every year. This year the meeting will focus on musicians playing wind instruments such as trumpet, trombone, cornet, which means it will be interesting for people who have dystonia in the face or in the lips.

The meeting will take place on Saturday October 18th from 14 to 18 in the library at the Hospital “Klinikum rechts der Isar”, Ismaninger Straße 22, in Munic.

Professor Bernhard Haslinger, Director of the Neurologic Clinic “Klinikum rechts der Isar” in Munich will talk about dystonia affecting musicians playing wind instruments.

A member of the Musicians Support Group will share his experiences and how using the Alexander technique helped him.

The meeting will be held in German, but if there is an interest from anybody outside of Germany to join the meeting you are most welcome to do so.

If you have any question or if you are interested in attending the meeting please contact Alexander Müller, leader of the Musicians Support Group in Germany,at: alexander.mueller@rg.dystonie.de
